How to use custom channel attribution
Maître tracks the marketing channels of each subscriber automatically, without the need for you to set anything up. By default, Maître tracks people coming from Facebook, Twitter, Facebook Messenger, Email, Whatsapp, Telegram, Linkedin plus a few more.
If you want to track your own channels (for example Facebook Ads or your newsletter), simply use UTM parameters (the only one that is really needed for Maître is utm_source).
Sources are a great way to measure your marketing efforts. For example, let's say you send out a newsletter and want to track conversions. You can create a link like http://mylandingpage.com?utm_source=newsletter to use in your newsletter. Maître will take care of the rest.
